"With so many photographers out there, it’s hard to know which one is right for your family, but when I saw Christine Lewis’ photography, I knew she was the one for us. I was drawn to her work because as I looked through her portfolio I noticed that the people in her photos looked natural and relaxed. They even looked like they were having a good time, which is more than I can say for most staged family portraits.
Christine’s photographs are not only artfully taken, but they seem to also have an organic and authentic feel to them. When we booked our session with her, we found that she literally goes the extra mile to get the right shots. Knowing we were avid outdoorsy people, she suggested we do our shoot off the Cumberland trail, and as we hiked along the creek, Christine took many opportunities to photograph our family from many different vantage points. She climbed up on rocks and over logs and worked her way around leaves and tree limbs to get the perfect shots. And she didn’t even mind that our dogs were along for the trip, though sometimes they got in the way! It was a beautiful and wonderful day in the woods, and Christine made it even more enjoyable with her laid-back personality and creative style.
