Fine Art Friday: The Little PigeonThe Little Pigeon This Monday and Tuesday, Lucas and I took a much needed trip to the smokies. No real plan in mind, just driving and taking pictures of whatever stood out to us. Unfortunately, there wasn't a whole lot of color. Seems like fall this year went straight from green to leaves falling without a whole lot of bright colors in between. Regardless, it was a whole lot of fun to get away and just relax. This picture was taken at the Little Pigeon River between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We discussed going into Cades Cove, but the line to get in was RIDICULOUS. Our sanity was a little more important:) Lucas actually saw this dam from the road as we were driving along. We parked and lugged all my stuff down to the creek. I'd say it was worth it. I'm a huge fan of waterfalls and creeks. I especially love the big log. To see this image and more aquatic images, go here!
