Jennifer + Zach: Exploring Shakerag Ruins
This shoot was so much fun for me! Typically I do a lot of families and kids, so it was fun to mix it up with pics of a young couple. We met up along the Tennessee River Gorge at a place called Shakerag. This is an old mining community and many of the ruins can still be found there.
The sun was so bright on the river, and it was so shaded in the woods that we were able to capture some cute silhouettes to start off.
Jennifer and Zach were a lot of fun and up for whatever ideas I had:) This is one of my favorites.
Now we're in the actual ruins. I like to make it look like I'm spying on them:)
Did I mention they brough their dog along? He was soooo excited to be in the middle of the woods with tons of sticks to play with, that we only got him in a couple pics. He was more hyper than a toddler!!!
And, we end with Kyan's potrait. Poor guy, we had to put the leash on to get him to stay still long enough to take a pic! I do believe he probably had more fun than any of the rest of us at this photo shoot:)
