Jessica and Loren; a Maternity Session at Red Clay
Wow. Where to even start with this couple? Jessica and Loren just have that special something. You can feel the love and excitement they share for each other and for having their first baby.
The three of us met at Red Clay State Park for our maternity shoot. This beautiful park has lots to offer including bridges, fields, a beautiful creek, and log cabins.
Jessica was such a trooper. She went everywhere I suggested without any complaint. She even took her shoes off and put her feet in the water for me! I love this one the best, because it feels so natural - kinda like I was spying on their intimate moment by the creek.
Oh, and did I mention both Jessica and Loren are deaf? It's amazing how little communication actually occurs with words. I'm fortunate to know how to finger spell, and we really didn't have any problems conveying what we wanted to. It was a neat experience, because they aren't uncomfortable with silence. There's no nervous laughter, no small talk. They just seem to be so much more comfortable with each other and with me for that matter. I'm fortunate to be the one to capture the beauty of this exciting moment in their lives.
A special thanks to Jessica and Loren for having me take your maternity pictures. I can't wait to meet that sweet baby boy! To see more images like these, go to the "Maternity" gallery in the "Lifestyle Portraits" portfolio. Comments
