Fine Art Friday: The Old Chevy
I'm a sucker for a good broken down old truck...especially if it's covered in ivy! This is just one of those instances when I was driving home from a photo shoot and I just HAD to pull over to take this picture. Fortunately it was not in someone's front yard - pulling into someone's driveway and taking pictures of their things might be a little odd. Not saying I wouldn't do it...but not normally all by my little ol self:) This old truck had just way too much personality to resist. The missing eyeball (ok, headlight) makes me feel sorry for it. I tell my husband all the time that I want vines growing all over my house. He still believes they will ruin it. Which, of course is true. But EVERYTHING looks so much cooler when it's overgrown with ivy. One day, I'll talk him into it! Click here to see this image and more from the "Degeneration" gallery!
