It All Began at a Treehouse...The Veals
"First comes a treehouse...then comes love...then comes marriage...then comes Lucy and Emma in a baby carriage!" Wait, that's not how the song goes! That's how their story goes anyhow, and I love that they wanted to do their photo shoot here where it all began.
Jenni and Monty met at the Chattanooga Nature Center. She worked there and he actually built this amazing treehouse. What kid wouldn't want a Dad that could build this??? I took images here before for a wedding reception (here!), and I still think it's just the coolest location ever.
Although not working there anymore, the family returns often. You can tell the girls feel at home here.
I absolutely love taking pictures for families that truly believe in playing outside. Jenni has a website called "My Outdoor Family." You should definitely check it out here. If you follow it, you'll have no excuse for not getting outside and playing! She will keep you updated on all the fun outdoor events in the area.
I especially love this one with all the canoes.
If you'll notice, Monty's face didn't light up that much in any other picture until I told him to go ahead and give those girls a big bear hug:) I'm such a Daddy's girl myself that this pictures really, really makes me happy!
This sequence makes me laugh. Jenni and Monty are so cute together. She did not want him scrunching her face up! Yeah...good luck with that.

This family consumes all the qualities of love and expresses it in the photos and story. "in the beginning..." and still going. That statement alone is the pinnacle to love, power and soundness of mind. I love these people and miss them dearly. The story and pictures can now bring them close with only a click. Thanks, the best is always our investments in memories, and here they are shared.

My Dad built us treehouses when I was growing up. It was a club house; an office, a school house and even "Hansel and Gretel's House." I've always wanted to build my grandkids one in their backyard everytime I come to Signal Mountain. Someday...
Your husband is a keeper! Your pictures are beautiful and your daughters are growing up so fast. I can tell you all have lots of fun!
